A Tribute to Pastor Bimbo Adebanwo by Yuki Igbinosa

Created by Yuki 3 years ago
Dearest Pastor Bimbo, your sudden departure from our midst came as a rude shock. We are however comforted by the life you lived and are assured that you’re right now resting in the bosom of our dear lord.
You were most loved and admired by all for your values and commitment to the things of the God and his kingdom on earth which was never in doubt.
You were a bundle of joy and divine radiance with smiles that were ever contagious.
You were ever welcoming either when you received us as co-labourers in the churches you pastored or visited us at the churches we served.
Your ever-boisterous outlook and literary prowess endeared you to many who were privileged to relate with you.
Your gentleness, love and care will be dearly missed by everyone one of us in the Winners family as well as our individual families.
You loved your wife and children beyond measures. In the book, ‘Far Above Rubies’, you wrote to celebrate your dear wife at her 50th birthday celebrations, you referred to her as ‘My Quintessential Wife’. There is no greater evidence of your love for her. It is my prayer that the good lord will continue to uphold and comfort her, your blessed children and all the loved ones you have left behind.
‘To live in hearts, we leave behind is not to die’ and you will forever be in our hearts.
May your gentle soul continue to rest in peace eternal.
Adieu, my co-labourer and faithful servant!
